Hello Orlando,
I have a question. I am considering leaving the broker I currently have my license with and would like to know what may be things to consider legally before doing so. Specifically I would like to know if there is no problem in moving any listings I may have now to the new broker and what is the situation when there is a pending transaction and I were to change brokers before the closing. Anything else I should consider before switching? Please let me know when you have a moment.

Jorge, we are not in a position to offer legal advice, for that we recommend you speak to a lawyer. In the practical sense you can expect from most brokers to either keep the listing or lower you slip usually to 50%. That is industry standard, however every company has a different policy, talk to your broker before making any move.
