From the own National Association of Realtors site the median salary for a real estate agent in 2013 was $47,700. After taxes that is about $2,981.25 per month not counting expenses.

After 8-24 months in the industry, you are more confused than ever; you do not know what to do; you have officially entered the danger zone. You start to doubt your clients, the industry, the market and even your own abilities. Your moral is low, and you are thinking “Is this the right business for me”?
