Hi Orlando,
When I was in Sotheby’s I had alot of events and networking invites to meet other agents. However after I left I felt a massive slowdown. For the 2 years I was there I was beginning to be known by Mayi de la Vega and other significant colleagues. I want the players to remember me. How can I find these events again? Or where can I find great networking events?
Elliot

Usually, you will meet top agents and brokers at pre-construction events/parties, most are agents working with buyers, not listing agents but it can help you develop relationships with important people in our community.
You can also frequent broker’s open on Tuesdays, you will, not only, have the change to interact with top agents but also get to know the available inventory.

I agree I think new development events are great to obviously see what’s new in different areas and to “mingle”, but Tuesday showings are great in Miami Beach and Wednesdays at the Grove or different areas that you specialize in to see the inventory and get acquainted in case a buyer does come by and you already have the inside info.

The trust model will hep you understand the concept of selling to many at the same time instead of 1 to 1.

Also Blue Print #2 is very good for your question: https://montielorganization.com/topic/4-blue-print-2/
Great questions, that’s the way to think, as an entrepreneur, not just a real estate agent.
